Somerset-based side SW Superchargers emerged victorious on the final day of the APEX Festival 2025.
The tournament, taking place at Millfield School, Somerset, officially kicked off on Monday morning, where the south-western side had battled their way to the final against London side GDST (Girls’ Day School Trust).
SW Superchargers emerged dominantly victorious in the final, winning by 9 wickets in a flawless APEX campaign.
Tournament co-founder Max Rusling commented on the final, saying: “Everyone at APEX has been so impressed with the quality of cricket displayed at our inaugural festival.
“Both the girls and boys have shown an incredible amount of talent over the week, and SW Superchargers can be so proud of themselves for emerging victorious.
“It was a flawless tournament from them, and they’ll be returning back home with the first ever girls trophy in their hands!
“Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who helped our dream come to life and make the first instalment of the APEX Festival possible.”
